Local Lite provides a free carpool matchmaking platform that helps parents and guardians connect for school transportation coordination. Our service facilitates communication and organization but does not provide transportation services directly.

User Accounts

Eligibility

You must be a parent, guardian, or authorized adult to create an account. By creating an account, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and have the authority to arrange transportation for the children listed in your profile.

Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• All activities that occur under your account
• Providing accurate and current information
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Share inappropriate content or engage in harmful behavior
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems

Carpool Coordination

User Responsibility

Local Lite facilitates carpool connections but does not provide transportation services. Users are solely responsible for:

• Verifying the suitability of carpool partners
• Ensuring safe transportation arrangements
• Complying with all applicable laws and regulations
• Maintaining appropriate insurance coverage
• Coordinating pickup/dropoff times and locations

Community Guidelines

All carpool arrangements must prioritize safety and follow community standards. We reserve the right to remove users who violate these guidelines or engage in unsafe practices.

Privacy and Data

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs your use of the Service. As a free service, we regularly clean up data to manage costs:

• Inactive carpool data is purged annually at the end of each school year
• Matchmaking data is cleaned up regularly to maintain service efficiency

Local Lite is provided as a free service. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service at any time without notice.

Service Interruptions

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LOCAL LITE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU FOR THE SERVICE (WHICH IS ZERO FOR OUR FREE SERVICE).

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Local Lite harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

Termination
